Spool Fabrication
Utilizes fittings, pipes, and components to fabricate spools in accordance to the Shop Floor Drawing, company specifications, and quality standards to produce quality end products as per the schedule and duration set by the scheduling department / foreman.
Finishing produced items
Perform finishing to the produced items ensuring they meet the quality standards and procedures
Check produced items for any defects and make necessary repairs accordingly
Check the item labels and marking and ensure it is as per the specifications / client requirements
Prepare the Inspection Report and approve it from the supervisor
Submit the finished items to the Quality Control inspector to ensure that the items are completed as per the schedule and duration set by the scheduling department / foreman
Lamination
Receive the required glass kit from the storekeeper / raw material and ensure the resins are correctly mixed
Laminate the required item as per the production procedure to ensure uniformity of produced items
Inform the assistant foreman of the daily out-put status
Report any accidents, problems, mistakes or non–conformities faced during production to the superior
Preparation of pip, Raw Materials, including tools & consumables
Identify all pipe, fittings and chemicals
Separate pipes, fitting and chemicals on the system
Prepare pipe and fittings surfaces as per company procedures
Properly store pipes and fittings and make sure they are in good condition
Monitor the chemicals’ expiry date
Pipe and fittings installation and jointing
Handle pipes, fittings, tools and jointing chemicals
Apply designed routings to pipe settings and layout
Have pipes fittings jointed as per the approved FPI procedures to meet the quality standards
Identification of defects and undertake repairs
Identify pipe and fittings defects and report them
Undertake repairs as per the approved procedures and quality standards
