Responsible process planning and cost estimation for precision engineered parts, metal fabrications and composites using the latest technology CNC machine tools covering Turning, Milling, Grinding, Welding, Heat Treatment.
•Provide detailed study and reports to achieve time, cost and quality objectives enabling competitive bidding.
•Good understanding of CNC machining, Multi Process machines, Heat Treatment, coating and processes in a Job Shop environment.
•Understanding of different cutting tools, feeds and speeds, fixture design planning.
•Prepare process plans for the execution of a wide variety of parts in a job shop environment.
•Ensure smooth interface and team cooperation with engineering, purchasing, sales and finance departments.
•Ensure smooth and stable production through proper selection of resources.
•Review the planned and actual times for production and seek method improvements to reduce cycle times and improve flow.
•Provide daily, weekly, monthly reports on progress
•Reporting on success and areas that need improvement
•Provide a good image to the company through representation and exhibitions and customer visits as required.
Education: Degr in Mechanical Engineering
Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Experience of precision engineered manufacture and special processes within a precision manufacturing environment
ERP operation experience within a manufacturing environment.
Advanced knowledge of estimation processes.
Excellent technical skills, proven track record of successfully developing within a precision engineering environment.
Excellent proficiency in English. Arabic an advantage.
Proven track record of successfully completing engineered projects combining various materials and processes.
Ability to work under pressure
Knowledge in International standards and Quality Management Systems like ASTM, ASME, DIN, ISO, API, AS etc.
Excellent Microsoft office skills including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
Experienced in TPM methodology and implementation
Advanced man management, interpersonal and communication skills
Good report writing and presentation skills
