Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Marine Clearance Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the clearance of marine shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and maintaining effective communication with relevant authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Customs Clearance: Facilitate the clearance of marine shipments by preparing and submitting all necessary doentation to customs authorities.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in customs laws and regulations, ensuring all marine clearance activities adhere to the latest compliance standards.
Doentation: Prepare and verify shipping doents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Communication: Liaise with customs officials, shipping companies, and other relevant parties to resolve any issues that may arise during the clearance process.
Tariff Classification: Accurately classify goods based on tariff codes, ensuring proper duty rates are applied.
