Medical Representative will be responsible for sales marketing and promoting company’s pharmaceutical and medical products. The Medical Representative will be trained to understand and demonstrate afterwards the company’s products to customers; he will also need to demonstrate the ability to handle customer product questions and objections in a way that is consistent with sales training methodology. Additionally, it will be expected to execute the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical and persuasive and which leads the customer to action.
Essential Functions:
1. Will be responsible for growing sales of Pharmaceutical and other company’s medical products by developing relationships with doctors and creating marketing programs to promote products services to community set by Sales& Key Accounts Manager.
2. Responsible in organizing appointmen with community and hospital-based healthcare staff.
3. Responsible in identifying and establishing new business; negotiating contracts; demonstrati products and services to healthcare staff including doctors, nurses, pharmacists etc and undertaking relevant research and maintaining detailed records.
4. Preparing presentations and attendi trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings.
5. With the delegation directed by the Sales & Key Accounts Manager or Sales Manager in managing budgets; reviewing sales performance; writing reports and other administrative procedures.
6. Drive focused revenue growth as assigned by the Sales Manager, the medical representative must understand in terms of a detailed functionality and benefit offering of each medical product, how each product is best applied to meet developing customer needs.
7. Must be able to define an overall strategy on an annual basis to drive sales growth in assigned area set by the Sales & Key Accounts Manager.
8. Demonstrate an effective understanding of competitive action in the assigned area and work to develop a plan to address problem areas.
9. Prepare analysis and development for an overall methodology strategy on the current market and proposed to Sales & key Accounts Manager.
10. Perform as required the sales prospecting activities.
