The job requires a minimum of four years of experience in network and security, as well as at least a bachelor's degree. Candidates must possess a technical certification in Juniper or CISCO Networks or JNCP with three or more years of experience. Possession of any CISCO certification or Junos Security Certification (JNTCP) is considered an advantage.
Applicants must have the ability to design enterprise network routing architectures using protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, and static routes. They must also be skilled in installing and configuring routers, Juniper firewalls (NetScreen), CISCO firewalls, Juniper switches, and CISCO switches. Troubleshooting complex network issues in the LAN, wireless, and WAN networks is also a required skill. Furthermore, applicants must be able to manage the performance and capacity of a L environment.
Candidates must have a strong analytical skill set and advanced knowledge of IT security and network threats. They should be able to perform detailed analyses of events during the incident process. A sound knowledge of AD, Windows 2012/2016/2019 & VM, Exchange server is also necessary. Keeping a high degree of awareness of the current threat landscape and enhancing current techniques while identifying new methods of detecting threats on our environment networks is essential.
The job also requires knowledge of network and operating system vulnerability tactics and testing, as well as experience with the installation and configuration of internet proxies and end-point security (antivirus).
