We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations, particularly VAT filing. The Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes within the organization.
Responsibilities:
1.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
2.Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
3.Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
4.Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
5.Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
6.Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
7.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation and filing of VAT returns.
8.Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
9.Assist with audits and liaise with auditors as required.
10.Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements:
1.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2.Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting roles.
3.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
4.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5.Excellent organizational and time management skills.
6.Knowledge of VAT regulations and experience with VAT filing.
7.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data.
10.Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus.
