Leading trading company in Dubai is seeking highly motivated and organised individual to cover all aspects of Import and Export Operations for ocean and road shipments for its Dubai office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering emails, talking to shipping companies on the phone across the world, preparing Sales Contracts, checking Letter of Credits, preparing documents, Invoices, packing lists, Certificate of Origin against for presentation to banks. Coordinating shipments with consignees. Corresponding with overseas clients.
Employer is a leading metals trading group with offices in London and Europe, they have just open a new office in Dubai to service their clients in Middle-East and South East Asia.
3 to 5 years experience in handling Import / Export shipping documents. Experience of the customs documentation process. Be able to work independently, multi-task, be a team player and work in a fast-paced environment. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Have good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Good understanding of Letter of Credit documentation preparation and presentation to the banks is import part of the job.
