Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and reliable office cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our office premises. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing excellent cleaning services that meet the expectations of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors.
• Clean and disinfect washrooms and restocking supplies (toilets, sinks, and fixtures).
• Take out the garbage and recycling regularly.
• Keep the office kitchen clean, including washing dishes, countertops, and appliances.
• Ensure all areas of the office are free from clutter and trash.
• Perform special cleaning tasks such as window washing, carpet cleaning or cleaning after a renovation.
• Maintain a clean and organized supply room.
• Preferably maintain outdoor areas of the building clean if required.
Skills and Requirements:
• Proven experience in commercial cleaning, or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
• Ability to work independently and without supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights and weekends.
Education and Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Certificate in commercial cleaning, preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• The ability to climb stairs and ladders if needed.
• The ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
