Purpose of Role
Manage the projects execution in accordance with contract requirements and with the implementation of the company quality and HSE systems on site within allocated time and budget (cost).
Responsibilities / Tasks
Responsible for the management of projects, through allocation of sufficient and adequate resource to ensure successful execution.
Plans and schedules the projects, determine priorities, controls workload, inspect projects and keeps sufficient time records for work flow and output.
Assisting all concerned departments (Sales, Architectural and Estimation departments) with technical support and back-up as and when required.
Reviews and interprets proposed designs, drawings, and specifications for appropriateness to required function a standard, and initiates revisions where appropriate.
Interacts and finalizes with customer on technical and contractual matters and discusses on the behalf of the General Manager for commercial / financial matters and ensuring all variation items are immediately acknowledged and confirm intentions to claim.
Ensures project budgets are available and updated on a regular basis.
Reports back to Head Office on site progress, bottlenecks, cost control and other issues as required by the Management Board.
Plans and monitors progress and reports to the customer and to the General Manager and responsible for implementing corrective actions to arrest slippage.
Prepares and submits a monthly project valuation to customers and Consultants, and coordinates with customer regarding the approval of the invoice.
Reviews and approves Subcontractor payment certificates.
Ensures that non-conformance’s if occurred are closed and timely preventive and corrective actions are taken.
Ensures all legal matters, public relations and government authority dealings are done correctly.
Qualifications & Job Specifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering
12+ years experience in the same industry in UAE
Extensive Technical knowledge.
Full knowledge of market trends and construction technology
Full awareness of Project management concepts.
Good Interpersonal skills
MS Office proficient.
Has leadership skills and a team player
Able to handle extreme work pressures.
