Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of properties and facilities within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including facility maintenance, tenant relations, vendor management, budgeting, health and safety compliance, staff supervision, property inspections, emergency preparedness, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement operational strategies, goals, and objectives aligned with the organization’s overall vision and mission.
Analyze market trends, customer demands, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in operations.
Evaluate and optimize operational processes and workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
Identify bottlenecks, operational gaps, and areas for improvement and develop and implement solutions to address them.
Implement performance metrics and key performance indicators to track and measure operational performance and take corrective actions as necessary.
Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of operational staff, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team objectives.
Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning, promoting professional development and growth opportunities for team members.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to enhance team performance and capabilities.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements.
Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of produ quality and customer satisfaction.
Monitor and assess operational risks, implement risk management strategies, and maintain effective internal controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain, to align operational activities with business objectives.
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Address customer concerns, inquiries, and complaints and strive to exceed customer expectations.
Take Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring “safe systems of work” and “safe conditions” are in place within the area of responsibility.
Perform other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Requiremen's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in operations management.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and people management abilities with a focus on team building & motivation.
Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of operational best practice.
Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for operational analysis.
