Job Summary:
The Operations DC will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the facilities and services. This role is pivotal in coordinating day-to-day activities, overseeing incident responses, and ensuring safety and compliance measures are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Efficiency: Coordinate daily operations to ensure optimal production levels and efficiency.
- Safety and Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring that all activities are conducted within regulatory parameters.
- Incident Response: Serve as the primary contact during operational incidents, coordinating the response and ensuring timely resolution.
- Liaise with Stakeholders: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, engineering, and logistics, to address operational needs and challenges.
- Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend process improvements to optimize operational performance and reduce operational risks.
- Training: Oversee and participate in training programs to ensure that staff are well-equipped to handle operational challenges.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in oil and gas operations.
- Strong understanding of industry regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations and make critical decisions.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Health and Safety or Environmental Management.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or coordinating role.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in both office and field environments.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies and work irregular hours if needed.
