Job Summary:
The Pet Grooming Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily grooming operations, ensuring high standards of pet care, and leading a team of groomers and assistants. This role involves managing appointments, maintaining a safe and clean grooming environment, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
Supervise and support the grooming team, ensuring quality and efficiency in services.
Train and mentor new groomers and assistants on grooming techniques and safety protocols.
Schedule and delegate tasks to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
Address team concerns and encourage a positive and productive work environment.
Grooming & Pet Care:
Perform high-quality grooming services, including bathing, haircuts, nail trimming, and ear cleaning.
Ensure the safe and humane handling of pets, catering to their needs and temperaments.
Identify signs of health issues in pets and report concerns to pet owners.
Customer Service & Communication:
Greet customers, discuss their pets' grooming needs, and provide professional recommendations.
Address customer complaints or concerns and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
Manage appointment scheduling, invoicing, and payment processing as needed.
Operational & Administrative Duties:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, tools, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory and order grooming supplies when needed.
Track team performance and report to management on operations and improvements.
