• Identify potential suppliers and subcontractors for construction materials, equipment,

• Evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing, and quality to select the most suitable vendors.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable and timely

2. Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Tender Management:
• Prepare RFQs and invitations to tender based on project requirements and
specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for
RFQs and tender doents.
• Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate terms and conditions, and recommend awarding
contracts to selected bidders.
3. Purchase Order Processing:
• Generate purchase orders for approved materials, equipment, and services.
• Review purchase requisitions and ensure accuracy and completeness before issuing
purchase orders.
• Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to project
schedules.
4. Cost Management and Budget Control:
• Monitor procurement costs and expenditures to ensure alignment with project budgets.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in procurement
processes.
• Work closely with project teams to forecast material requirements and budgetary needs
for upcoming projects.
5. Contract Negotiation and Administration:
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors, including
pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure that contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and project
specifications.
• Administer and manage contracts throughout the procurement lifecycle, including
amendments, extensions, and terminations as necessary.
6. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that procured materials and equipment
meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and safety
regulations in all procurement activities.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in
the construction industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil construction materials, methods, and specifications.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and
Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with contract law, procurement regulations, and construction contracts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
