(MECHANICAL ENGINEERING CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED
The procurement officer's responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, approving purchases, and maintaining accurate records. To be successful as a procurement officer you should have an analytical mind and keep up with product and service trends.
Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and any relevant ERP system
Can easily adopt in work environment
Having very good negotiation skill
Relevant technical knowledge
Good leadership skills
Ability to resolve problems in an efficient manner
Receiving approved PR's
Floating inquiries to the concerned suppliers
Receiving quotations from mentioned suppliers
Making the comparison of the quotations received
Submitting the comparison to Manager for negotiation and finalization
Preparation of LPO once the value and supplier has been finalized
Forwarding the LPO to Manager for approval
Coordinating with the suppliers for prompt delivery of the materials to the site.
Coordinating with the site staff regarding the quality and quantity of the materials received
Coordinating with the Accounts Department regarding the suppliers payments.
Maintaining proper filling of all the PR's and LPOs
Receiving and updating PR and LPO logs
