Job Purpose:
The Product Specialist (Nuclear Medicine & Radiotherapy) is responsible to se products using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products to their needs, resulting in revenue generation and achieving the set target, partially involve on RSO rules.
Job Description - Principal Accountabiliti Results Area:
External
Direct all aspects of successful sales for Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine consumables and diagnostic imaging devices;
Generate significant profitable growth through retenti penetration of major accounts as well as effective prospecting and acquisition of new accounts.
Responsible for the realization of the specified revenue and profit targets in the field of Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine in the assigned area.
Provide exceptional sales suppo service to clients within the competitive and highly-profitable radiotherapy and nuclear medicine field.
Establish trust and rapport with hospital administrators and senior medical professionals.
Conduct in-depth client presentations on equipment and demonstrated cost savings.
Work with hospital executives to provide all information and presentations on nuclear medicine consumables and devices including development of capital asset management plans.
Track and analyze market trends including competitor data and develop effective counter strategies that improve revenue and territory growth.
Training of users from the sales department of Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine Unit. Conducts in-service or coordinates training sessions to radiology clinic staff on proper use and safety of advanced equipment which they may purchase.
Answering customers queries with regards to product use and medical application.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and industry standards.
Communicate with principal companies for technical support.
Internal
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines and from assigned accounts.
Preparing yearly Budget and Marketing expenses in coordination with the line manager.
Forecast Monthly and Quarterly figures in relation to yearly Budget
Make sure store is invoicing in the right way
Follow up on quotations with the OSD
Follow-up with store on deliveries
Monitor the inventory and make sure that inventory level is maintained
Coordinate with OSD to place orders with principal companies as and when needed
Send weekly reports to the Line Manager
