The Project Manager role is to lead and manage a single or multiple projects and take ownership and
responsibility of the assigned projects. PM shall manage and provide required support and able to manage
cross-functional teams to ensure that project requirements are met.
Project Manager is directly involved in executing and managing assigned projects safely, on schedule, within
budget and to the highest standards of integrity and compliance. This will involve engineering design,
procurement and construction of various sizes ($), types and complexity of small, medium to multi-billion
dollar mega projects.
1. Achieve targets and compliance in line with project requirements e.g. Budget, Schedule, HSSE, Quality,
Company Policies, Standards and procedures.
2. Present capital projects proposals, and sound alternatives, to management and stakeholders.
3. Supervise and coordinate the execution of capital projects from proposal study stage to completion and
delivery to customer (proponent).
4. Responsible and accountable to manage all phases of project execution and administration, including of
engineering design, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, closeout, invoice review and approval,
compliance with Saudi Aramco project requirements inclusive of contractual, administrative, cost,
schedule, quality of deliveries and scope management.
5. Ensure that all project deliverables (original and as-built drawings, specifications, spare parts, man-power,
specialty contractors, equipment manuals and any other items) are complete by project start up time.
6. Establish Project Execution Strategy & Plan.
7. Attend and present Project Status during project progress review Meetings to management.
8. Able to work closely and maintain network with Saudi Aramco departments (various) assisting and
providing support to your proje.
9. Be aware and ensure for the implementation of project KPIs related to Quality, HSSE, risk, project budget
and schedule.
10. Relocate (as needed) to project site cam areas during the construction work week, and be
prepared for frequent a prolonged travel.
11. Be a visible leader in the construction site and uphold safety at all times.
12. Ensures that project risk management is updated inclusive of risk register, treatment plan and actions.
13. Able to identify and manage potential areas of concern, recommend alternatives to minimize or eliminate
project impact.
14. Must be able to proactively forecast any potential project derailment and take required measures to mitigate
and maintain the project on course.
15. Perform all management functions at Division level i.e. administrative, project management, reporting, employee development and evaluation, resources planning.
16. PM shall be responsible to introduce and implement best practices to achieve project delivery in terms of
time, budget and custome satisfaction.
17. Proactively manage scope & interfacing issues demonstrating timely judgment to resolve any issues.
18. Oversees and reviews project communication and correspondence.
19. Provide support during project assessment or audits and ensures that required doentation is provided
as needed.
20. Be familiar with Project Execution Excellence a Operational Excellence focus areas and enabling
elements.
21. Overall delivery of the scope of work.
22. Sourcing and assignment of resources (personnel and equipment) in coordination with Discipline
Managers.
23. Review and approval of all invoices.
24. Resolution of all contractual issues.
25. Management of relationship with Client, subcontractor and other stakeholders.
26. Coordination of team building activities.
27. Participation in technical reviews as required by Client.
