The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will be responsible for managing all aspects of government procedures and legal requirements related to business operations, employee visas, trade licenses, and other compliance matters. The PRO will ensure that the organization adheres to UAE laws and regulations, working closely with government offices and departments.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Visa and Labor Procedures:
•Process employment visas, renewals, cancellations, and other government-related tasks for employees.
•Ensure timely submission and follow-up on visa applications and labor permits with relevant government authorities (e.g., Ministry of Labor, Immigration Department).
•Coordinate with employees and departments to ensure compliance with visa and labor law requirements.
2.Trade License and Company Doentation:
•Handle all matters related to trade license renewals, amendments, and cancellations.
•Ensure timely submissions of company doentation for compliance with UAE government regulations.
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of company-related legal doents.
3.Government Relations:
•Act as the company’s representative in dealings with government bodies (e.g.,Economic Department, Chamber of Commerce, Immigration).
•Establish and maintain good relationships with government officials and agencies.•Stay up-to-date on changes in government regulations and procedures, advising the company accordingly.
4.Employee Relations:
•Support employees with medical fitness tests, Emirates ID applications, and other personal government-related processes.
•Assist in resolving employee issues related to government policies, such as fines or penalties.
5.Other Duties:
•Maintain records of government expenses (e.g., visa costs, labour fees) and ensure proper budget management.
•Prepare regular reports on the status of government applications and licenses.
•Ensure timely and effective renewal of all company legal doents, such as tenancy contracts, insurance policies, and registration certificates.
•Proven experience as a Public Relations Officer, Government Relations Officer, or a similar role.
•Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws, visa processes, and trade license regulations.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Fluent in both Arabic and English (preferred).
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Valid UAE driving license.
