We are looking for a Purchasing Officer with DAZFA or JAZFA experience to procure products needed for our company's daily operations. Tasks include checking prices and quality.
Purchasing officer responsibilities include evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts (for example, orders and costs). For this role, you must have a good knowledge of market research as well as solid analytical skills to make sure you identify the most profitable offers.
Ultimately, you will build and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure high quality and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
* Research of potential suppliers
* Comparison and evaluation of offers from suppliers
Attend trade shows and expos to keep up to date with industry trends
Requirements and skills
* Proven work experience as a Purchasing Manager, Purchasing Agent or similar position
* Good knowledge of sourcing methods (research, evaluation and interaction with suppliers)
* Understanding the supply chain procedure
* Negotiation skills
* Bachelor in Logistics, Business Administration
Knowledge of English, as well as Hindi or Urdu. Arabic as an added advantage
