The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Management System (QMS):
Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s QMS.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Periodically review and update quality policies, procedures, and manuals.
2. Quality Assurance:
Establish quality objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Conduct internal and external audits to ensure process and product compliance.
Develop and deliver training programs to staff on quality standards and procedures.
Review project quality plans, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and method statements.
3. Quality Control:
Oversee inspection, testing, and monitoring activities to verify compliance with specifications.
Identify quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Approve incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods for quality assurance.
4. Doentation and Reporting:
Prepare and maintain quality-related doentation such as audit reports, inspection records, and test reports.
Develop and submit regular quality performance reports to senior management.
Track and manage non-conformances and preventive actions (NCRs and CARs).
5. Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
Interface with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors to ensure satisfaction with quality standards.
Work with suppliers to establish and maintain quality requirements.
6. Continuous Improvement:
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality methodologies to optimize processes.
Monitor industry trends and advancements to recommend improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
10-12 years' relevant work experience
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Skills and Competencies:
Strong understanding of principles, standards, and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
