Responsibilities:
1.Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses for interior fit out projects.
2.Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Preparation: Develop comprehensive and detailed BOQs based on architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
3.Tender Analysis: Evaluate tender submissions, review contractor proposals, and provide recommendations based on cost, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
4.Procurement: Assist in the procurement process, including preparing and reviewing procurement doents, conducting supplier evaluations, and negotiating contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
5.Contract Administration: Manage the financial aspects of contracts, including change orders, progress payments, and claims management. Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
6.Quantity Takeoff: Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project doents.
7.Cost Control: Monitor project costs throughout the duration of the project, identifying potential cost overruns or savings and providing recommendations to the project team.
8.Variations and Claims: Assess and evaluate variations and claims, including analyzing the impact on project cost and schedule, and negotiate settlements with contractors.
9.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on project cost, progress, and financial status to the project team, clients, and stakeholders.
10.Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with project cost, schedule, and quality, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
11.Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
1.Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
2.Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with a focus on interior fit out projects.
3.Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost control techniques.
4.Proficient in quantity takeoff, cost estimation, and project cost management software.
5.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
6.Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and project teams.
7.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
8.Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
9.Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
