We are a female-only based pilates studio with aerial yoga and barre. We’re located just 15 minutes away from Dubai, in Sharjah. We’re looking for a lead pilates instructor who is passionate about fitness and health. She should be able to conduct engaging classes while supporting the running of the studio.
Roles and Responsibilities
Individually work to provide effective and engaging Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates classes for up to 10 clients per session.
Conduct a visual assessment of each client and go over their file prior to the session.
Be attentive to the individual needs of clients in terms of fitness levels, limitations and injuries if specified. Provide adequate modifications while conducting the session.
Be prepared to conduct private sessions tailored to individuals or two-to-one sessions.
Create session schedules with management that cater to the client’s needs.
Communicate client feedback, maintenance needs of equipment along with substitutions or changes in scheduling.
Inspect equipment prior to conducting sessions to ensure working order and safety of clients.
Come up with music playlists for sessions.
Ensure each session starts and ends on time.
Ensure that clients wipe down equipment before the next session.
Suggest new revenue streams and provide client feedback.
Participate in social media campaigns and content creation such as photos and video promotions.
Provide up to four sessions a day, five days a week.
Qualifications and Training
Mat Pilates certified
Reformer Pilates certified
Barre or Aerial Yoga certified (preferred)
2 years minimum experience
Proficiency in spoken English
