Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Rent-a-Car Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers with vehicle rentals, ensure excellent customer service, and contribute to the smooth operation of our branch.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in selecting vehicles that suit their needs.
Process rental agreements and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
Handle inquiries about rental options, pricing, and policies.
Inspect vehicles before and after rental to assess for damages.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge about the fleet and rental policies.
Upsell additional products and services such as insurance or GPS rentals.
Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Coordinate vehicle availability and ensure timely vehicle preparation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the rental office.
Collaborate with the team to meet branch targets and goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree is a plus).
Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and shifts as needed.
Multilingual abilities are a bonus.
