The main objectives are to ensure a consistent and quality service is delivered to all guests. Assisting the manager with achieving high scores on guest satisfaction surveys, recognizing repeat guess, and doing what it takes to ensure all reasonable guest needs are met.
The position must always remain flexible regarding working hours and shift patterns, which may differ according to business demands.
• Greet and escort guests to their tables.
• Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
• Inform guests about the day’s specials.
• Offer menu recommendations upon request.
• Up-sell additional products when appropriate
• Take accurate food and drink orders, using POS ordering software, order slips, or memorization.
• Serve food and drink orders.
• Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems.
• Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
• Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
• Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning.
• Follow all relevant health department regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests.
Experience:
• Pre-opening is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience
Requirements:
• Open to any Nationality
• Male or Female, 35 years old and below.
• Proven work experience as a Waiter / Waitress
• Active listening and effective communication skills
• Flexibility to work in shifts.
• High school diploma: Food Safety Training is a plus
• Team Spirit
• Strong Organizational and Multitasking Skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
