JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering with
a solid experience in Control Systems and Industrial Electronics.
Experience: Minimum 8 years’ experience in the O&M of various plant controlled with SCADA
in the environment of large water treatment and Reverse Osmosis filtration plants.
Fluent in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Good knowledge of industry standards, international guidelines (like ISO, BS) and local
government guidelines and best practices.
Team Player and able to manage production, equipments, staffs and contractors.
Ability to manage budget for Consumables, Preventive and corrective maintenance work.
Self-motivated, Interpersonal, initiative, analytical thinking and good decision-making
abilities.
Able to redact precise technical and contractual related documents.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Operate and maintain essential SCADA and control systems and components for electric
power, distribution networks, RO Membranes, filters and filtration pumps, etc…
Carry out duties in accordance with the organisation’s safety, environmental and quality
policy, safety principles, corporate values and strategies.
Prepare precise Standard Operational Procedure to guide the Operators during each
operational scenario or regime.
Trains and carries out Tool box talks to the subordinates and Contractors.
Creation, update and Implementation of the SOP set to comply with the QEHS regulations.
Achieves the daily quantitative and qualitative water production targets.
Diligent in reducing the costs by creating tools to measure, analyze and control the
production to optimize the plant’s Operation and Maintenance costs.
Proactive to suggest modifications to increase the plant’s reliability.
