Primary Responsibilities
•Provide excellent service to the customer both internal and external.
•Follow and adhere to the Customer Service Charter.
•Manage refunds within business policy to ensure the customer is satisfied and will return.
•Actively recruit customers to the database.
•Focus on customer conversion through communication and interaction to help the customer find what they need.
•Ensure the store is always set up to a high standard for our customers.
•Is an expert fitter and can fit by tape measure and by eye
•Think customer in everything you do.
•Deal with all customer enquiries as appropriate.
•Deliver the best customer service.
•Be polite, courteous, efficient and helpful to customers and colleagues at all times.
Profitability
•Ensure all sales and conversion targets are met and exceeded.
•Minimize stock loss and constantly look for ways of reducing costs and improving profitability.
•Proactively look for ways to decrease costs and drive efficiencies and communicate these to their Shop Manager.
Product
•Assist in stock taking processes and movement of stock and notify the Shop Manager of any slow moving stock or low stock levels.
•Ensure product presentation is as per the brand guidance and is always to a high standard.
•Ensure self is up to date on the full product offering and can talk confidently about the product production, style, sizing and brand history.
•Advise on bestselling items, slow sellers and missing product opportunities to their Shop Manager.
Operation
•Ensure a high delivery of execution of retail and visual standards in store.
•Ensure full compliance and adherence of self to the company policies and procedures.
•Constant communication to Shop Manager on factors influencing service and sales.
•Contribute to a safe working environment for self and team.
•Responsible for start-up and end of day analysis to include cashing up, floats and till usage.
•Ensure that the store is kept clean and free from rubbish etc.
•Reporting discrepancies and problems to the Shop Manager.
•Assist in the receipt of deliveries of merchandise.
•Maintain and develop a high standard of presentation and display of merchandise.
•Ensure all merchandise is kept secure and stored accordingly.
•Assist the Shop Manager with the codi.
•Assist with the daily emails, and the appropriate paper work and filling.
•Follow the company grooming standards as per the guidelines.
•Work with the established guidelines, particularly with brand within.
•Work as part of a team to achieve the required goals and objectives of the business.
•Support and help colleagues when needed.
Qualifications and Skills
•Excellent written and spoken English.
•Advantageous to have but not essential: MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
•Ideally a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Retail or Service industry.
