UAE experienced Business Development Personal in Consolidation Industries.
§ The Primary function of the role is being responsible for the management and direction of all sales and business development activities in UAE. This includes acquisition of new customers and further development of existing customers in the country using all available sales resources.
§ Responsible for Commercial team strategy to ensure month volume and monetary targets are met, as set by Country Manager.
§ Involved in research and development into new revenue streams, products and solutions.
§ Overseeing and managing all business development, trade lane development, and account management activities.
§ Functional reporting and development of UAE Sales Team.
§ Personally acquire and manage a portfolio of key ‘house’ accounts to maintain personal set new business / volume targets as set by Country Manager.
§ Act as an escalation point for the client base where necessary.
§ Monitor clients fall off and gain on a monthly basis and take appropriate action.
§ Visit key and vulnerable clients.
§ Prepare and submit weekly and monthly pipeline, revenue and GP reports to Country Manager in a timely fashion.
§ Maintain close communication with key customers and operational management to assure uniform understanding of customer expectations relative to operational solutions, timeline, costs, results.
§ Responsible for regular appraisa reviews and performance measurement of commercial Team.
§ Strong relationships with slot operators / shipping lines and able to assist with procurement of competitive rates and service offerings.
§ Allocating and managing sales resources optimally.
§ Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
