Job Brief:
Are you experienced in generating sales and providing technical expertise within the maritime industry? If so, you are the one we are looking for.
As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving ship repair services and doors manufacturing sales. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer needs, offering tailored solutions, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also support ship repair sales initiatives, sell marine equipment, and help expand marine doors product range.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and target potential clients within the maritime industry, building and maintaining strong relationships to understand their needs and offer customized solutions.
Serve as the technical expert in ship repair services, interpreting technical specifications, drawings, and client requirements to provide suitable repair solutions.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet sales targets, conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure all agreements are met and doented accurately.
Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure seamless execution of repair projects, monitoring progress, and keeping clients informed.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and improve service offerings.
Provide post-sales support, addressing any client concerns promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project details, preparing regular reports for management.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and alliances, to expand service offerings and market reach.
Promote the company’s brand and services at industry events, conferences, and through various marketing channels.
Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine or Navy or any relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of technical products or services, preferably in the maritime or ship repairing industry.
UAE Driving license must.
Must be fluent in English & Arabic.
Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to understand and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and client requirements.
Proven track record in sales, with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Ability to analyze market trends, client information, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
