We are launching a new tea company - Bahari Teas, bringing loose leaf specialty teas from Kenya. We are looking for a Sales Executive who can create new leads and present our products to various Restaurants, Cafes and Hotels. This role will hold a performance-based incentive structure.
Responsibilities
• Establish professional custom relationships
• Secure opportunities to quote and follow up on quotes
• Secure orders from existing and potential customers
• Maintain a high degree of technical expertise through product and application knowledge
• Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process
• Proactively build high quality relationships at all levels (senior leadership, sales, marketing, procurement, finance and operations) within the distribut
• Working through broker relationships to assist in key customer assignments
• Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events
• Arrange exception deliveries in collaboration with Transportation departments, and other delivery services
• Verifying orders with customers to include receiving information from customers and discussing orders with customers to include credits
• Timely and Accurate reporting of Sales and Customer Data
• Accountability over agreed business objectives, sales budgets and pricing targets in the designated market areas
Requirements
• Must be goal driven, have good organizational and administration skills in order to self manage and develop discipline and be flexible and coachable
• Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment
• Must have good customer service and time management skills
• Great communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
• Basic knowledge of contractual and financial terms
• Previous experience in Sales and Customer relationship management in the food and beverage industry
