Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Sand Blasting Worker to join our team. As a Sand Blasting Worker, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing surfaces using high-pressure sandblasting techniques. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work in various environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces, such as metal, stone, or concrete.
Ensure the proper use of protective equipment, including respirators, gloves, and safety gear.
Inspect equipment for functionality and perform routine maintenance or troubleshooting as needed.
Work with supervisors to ensure the sandblasting process meets quality standards and project specifications.
Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies.
Handle materials, equipment, and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with abrasive blasting or other surface preparation methods.
Knowledge of proper sandblasting techniques and materials.
Familiarity with industrial safety practices and equipment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sandblasting or a related field is preferred.
Ability to operate and maintain sandblasting equipment.
Strong attention to safety and quality.
Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and environments.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
