Chefs work with other kitchen staff to ensure that our kitchen runs effectively, and they have to be experts at ensuring food quality and maintaining kitchen equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in an aesthetically pleasing way
Oversee food preparation, checking that all kitchen staff are performing their duties
Monitor equipment quality and order new equipment as needed
Help the restaurant determine how much food and supplies need to be ordered
Train new kitchen staff
Inventory and Waste Management
Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines/
Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards.
Completes and utilizes daily production worksheets and waste log sheets.
safe handling, operation of equipment, food safety and sanitation based on Company and regulatory standards
Requirements:
3-5 Years General Experience
Punctuality in timing
Hospitality and Kindness in dealing with customers
Knows how to innovate new menus and recipes
Valid clear criminal record certificate
Passes two interviews (Meeting and practical)
