Handling enquiries and screening telephone calls
Organizing a manager’s diary and making appointments
Arranging meetings
Taking notes at meetings
Organizing and maintaining office systems
Securing travel arrangements when necessary
Attending to company clients and visitors
Good verbal and written skills applied through all channels of communications
Active listening and record-keeping skills
Computer and software competencies in the Microsoft Office Suite or other word processors
Multitasking skills
Knowledge of organizing an office’s filing system
Scheduling skills
Making travel arrangements
Working directly with high-level employees
Preparing corporate documents
Maintaining strict confidentiality
Organizing their superior’s entire schedule
Sustaining a level of professionalism among staff
The ability to work under extreme pressure and deadlines
Understanding of project management
Flexibility in working hours
Professional and friendly demeanor
Thorough attention to details
Self-motivated but able to work as a team
