DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Securing premises and ensure workplace security by patrolling property, monitoring security cameras and inspecting buildings and equipment to prevent theft, intrusion, damage, hazards and breaches of security.
•Monitor the entrance and exit to prevent movement of prohibited items into the company and company assets out of property.
•Logging the entry of a visitor & retaining the visitor pass issued by the company.
•Responding to safety alarms and calls of security concern.
•Keeping daily logs of activities and any issues addressed.
•Answering phones and responding to other inquiries at the security desk.
•Alerting company authorities and if needed relevant government authorities for emergencies a security breaches.
•Report, and escalate to management about any accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire incidents onsite.
•Report if any damage to the property happens because of the negligence by transporters or company drivers and vehicles.
•Use detection devices to screen individuals entering & exiting the premises.
•Inspect and test fire and security systems.
•Implement the prescribed emergency plan in case of emergency.
Qualifications and requirements
•High school qualification or equivalent.
•3-5 years prior experience as a Security Guard.
•Excellent verbal and written bilingual communication skills.
•Through knowledge of basic first aid skills.
•Physically alert & fit.
