The Security Guard will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment and preventing any potential risks or threats.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other individuals, ensuring proper identification and doentation.
2. Conduct regular patrols to check for any signs of unauthorized access, suspicious activities, or potential security breaches.
3. Maintain a visible presence to deter crime and ensure the security of the premises.
4. Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors by answering questions and providing directions.
5. Monitor security systems, including alarms and surveillance cameras, and report any abnormalities or malfunctions immediately.
6. Respond to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, or other incidents, following company protocols and ensuring the safety of all individuals involved.
7. Write detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
8. Collaborate with local law enforcement authorities when necessary, providing assistance during investigations or emergencies.
9. Implement and enforce safety regulations and company policies, ensuring compliance by all staff and visitors.
10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in security technology and best practices, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in security training or criminal justice preferred.
2. Proven experience working as a Security Guard, law enforcement officer, or similar role.
3. A valid security license or certification is required.
4. Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
5. Strong observational skills, with the ability to quickly identify potential threats or risks.
6. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
7. Ability to remain calm and composed during emergency situations and make quick decisions.
8. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
9. Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, as well as lift and move heavy objects if required.
10. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
