RADAX Healthcare and Hospitality Laundries is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant. This is a key role within our finance department, requiring in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex financial processes and demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Role Description and responsibilities
This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Accountant located in Muscat. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with RADAX Healthcare and Hospitality Laundries rules and regulations.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations and coordinate with external auditors during audits.
General Ledger Management: Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger and ensure accuracy in all accounting entries.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance.
Variance Analysis: Conduct thorough variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Tax Management: Collaborate with external tax consultants to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax returns.
Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
The candidate will also work closely with other departments to ensure financial compliance, develop strategies for improving financial procedures and support decision-making.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance; Certification in either Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent is highly preferred.
5+ years of experience in a similar role
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial management
Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
