Job Description:
• Greet and welcome guests in a professional manner. Answer the telephone as per the Hotel’s standard and assist guests with their queries.
• Obtain the basic medical history of the client, including problem areas or existing conditions, and suggest appropriate therapy.
• Perform individualized spa treatments as per the guests’ needs and requirements and in line with the Hotel’s standards.
• Flexible and open to do other spa services such as nail care and hair services to increase utilization.
• Exhibit sensitivity to guest’s needs and ensures that they are properly noted and endorsed.
• Politely seek guest’s feedback through different guest feedback platforms.
• Promote and up sell retail products and other spa services.
• Manage time properly and keep utilization of at least 70% (combined service and spa operations)
• Ensure that the treatment rooms are equipped with the supplies required for the day’s operation including but not limited to preparing foot compress, spa linen availability and inventory of supplies and professional products.
• Ensure that the treatment rooms are cleaned, sanitized, maintained and properly set-up prior and after every treatment.
• Ensure that all monitoring sheets are checked and filled-out.
• Should be able to meet targets set by Management for Spa treatment productivity, retail and upselling.
• Handle guest complaint with grace and sensitivity, referring complaint to the appropriate level accordingly.
• Heed personal and professional improvement through continuous learning and attendance in internal and external training.
• Promote the spa & health club services and products to maximize revenue. Up sell when appropriate.
• Handles Reception Area, Take reservations and bookings using the available hardware and software system. Update guest profiles when required.
• Cashiering – accurately post charges and carry out a correct Accounting procedure.
• Ensure complete inventory of spa reception supplies.
• Ensures that all equipment’s and facilities are in good working conditions. Follows-up on pending maintenance issues.
Job Qualifications:
• Physically fit and in good health
• Caring, positive attitude to clients.
• Genuine interest in helping clients overcome their physical problems.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of deep meditation and relaxation
• A certificate or combination of education and experience in massage modalities, body treatments and wellness solutions.
• Three to five years of extensive experience in reputable Spas or Wellness Centers.
