Senior Mechanical Engineer (Water Transmission Project)
We are in search of 'Sr. Mechanical Engineers' experienced in the Water Transmission Project with Transferable Iqama. The ideal candidate must have 15-20 Years of core expertise in the Water transmission project, especially in Saudi Arabia.
Job Description
well-understanding of water supply, distribution systems, and water treatment processes
sizing of intake and pump capacities by making field investigation (depending on water
level fluctuations with the time and select the most appropriate pump type and
capacity)
well-understanding in the nature of pipeline hydraulics, pressure zones, pipe cla, water flow, capacity analysis, and water quality analysis
surveyi sites and collecting local data and information related to mechanical works for
pump stations, pipeline laying, WTP and distribution reservoirs
depending on the test well data and the yield capacity of each well, common transmission
main size and pipe type shall be designed
choosing pipe size and lengths of the common man and other pipelines shall be based on the results of topographic surveys and of computerized hydraulic model analyses
identifying the alignment of raw water transmission pipelin in each sub-project need to be verified after with the Topographic survey
selecting of pipe materials will be depended on the location, installation, and service
of the raw water transmission main well
understanding and studying in flexibility on pipes, joints, & coupling & accessories (air valves, washouts, section valves, culve crossings)
working with water supply engineer in site investigating and operating processes instruction of mechanical pipeline drawing to M&E drafter according to project requirements
Requirements;
Proven work experience in Engineering, Water Supply, and Distribution or Similar role
Minimum 15 years experience in Water Supply and Distribution Project or other International Experience or Equivalent
Age 35-49
Familiar with a water supply and distribution projects
Good math skills, international reporting skills, writing skills, project implementation skills
Ability to meet project deadlines
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent, Master Engineering Degree from a technical college is a plus
Good coordination with the project team
Problem-solving skills in any condition
