• Parts catalogs surfing –advance level knowledge.
• Sound knowledge of OEM / Ancillary parts and sourcing based on OEM information.
• Parts Ordering Management: in depth idea to create replenishment parts orders, close coordination with workshop and External Sales Counters on parts requests. Fair idea on types of parts order and selecting as per urgency and dimensions of the parts shipment.
• Follow up with Manufacturer / Suppliers on the not available / back order parts.
• Monitoring Lost Sales and follow up action on preparing the orders.
• Costing & Pricing: clear concept on pricing of parts brought through foreign purchase. Selling price set up under different criteria. Costing of parts under different modes of shipping.
• Shipping: knowledge of shipping parts by different modes. Weight and volume based judgement. Follow up with Shipper / forwarder to meet arrival deadline.
• System Knowledge: any Dealer Business Management parts module hands on idea. Generation of System Reports related to Parts operation and stock.
• Shipment Booking: obtaining quotes, negotiation of rates with forwarder. Negotiating with Shipper on economical packaging.
• Marine Claims & Parts Warranty Claims: procedural knowledge of both and reporting to Manufacturers / Suppliers.
• Inventory Control: study aging reports and plan campaigns to get rid of old / slow moving inventory. Liaison with warehouse on handling / storage and evaluating damaged parts.

Exposure to Chinese cars environment.
