Job Description

The Store Manager key responsibilities are to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided to all customers at all times, this whilst maximizing sales opportunity and minimizing operational costs.
People:
Direct, coach, support and delegate to the team, monitoring their performance to achieve store targets.
Motivate the team and develop their potentials by setting personal examples and regular coaching. 
Motivate the team to ensure targets are achieved and train on product knowledge.
Adopt a coaching attitude whilst working with store staff to ensure effective transfer of skills.
Carry out regular store briefing with store staff to keep them aware of new product launches and upcoming marketing activities.
Provide brand and store induction for new staff.
Participate in management meetings as and when required.
Operation:
Ensure that company standards of grooming, presentation and professional conduct are maintained.
Maximize sale promotions and brand activities.
Ensure store deliveries are process quickly and accurately and any new stock is displayed on the shop floor without delays.
Ensure the store is merchandised commercially and visually to company standards. 
Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
Manage departments stock and conduct stock takes.
Ensure store stockroom is tidy and clean at all times.
Ensure all company procedures are implemented and monitored.
Ensure loss prevention measures are implemented to prevent and reduce shrinkage.
Ensure appropriate use of marketing tools and in store graphics as per brand guidelines manual.
Utilize sales info as far as best & worst sellers in order to maximize sell through and reduce stock liabilities.
Carry out competitor analysis and feedback to general manager accordingly.
Complete store visit checklist report as per operational procedure.
Contribute to the development of the company trading and promotional calendar by regularly feeding back on successes and opportunities.
Customer:
Cultivate a culture of excellent customer service, leading by example on the sales floor. 
Dealing with customer complaints effectively and promptly. 
Finance:
Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of tills, floats and petty cash.
Analyse sales figures, promotional activities and customer feedback.
To ensure that store based costs and shrinkage are controlled and minimized in line with company targets.
