Job Title: Storekeeper

Al Reem LLC, a leading company in Shipping and Logistics, is seeking an experienced and highly organized individual to join our team as a Storekeeper. As a Storekeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing our inventory and ensuring the efficient operation of our stores.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, supplies, and equipment in an orderly manner.
Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments and ensure all necessary doentation is complete.
Maintain proper storage and organization of inventory to facilitate easy access and retrieval.
Monitor stock levels and generate reports on inventory status, including stock counts and discrepancies.
Coordinate with other departments to fulfill material requisitions and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Conduct regular stock inspections and implement measures to prevent loss, damage, or theft.
Operate various equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to move, load, or unload materials as required.
Collaborate with the procurement team to assist in sourcing and purchasing materials and supplies.
Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures within the store.
Proven experience as a Storekeeper or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and procedures.
Proficient in using computerized inventory management systems.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Forklift certification is a plus.
