An Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support business decisions.
Responsibilities:
Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers, including accounts payab, payroll, and general ledger entries.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and monitoring expenditures.
Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations.
Auditing & Reconciliation: Conduct regular audits and reconcile discrepancies in financial data.
Cost Control: Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
