Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced individuals to join our dynamic team as Waite. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Present menus, make recommendations, and take accurate food and beverage orders.
Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of dishes.
Assist with setting up and clearing tables as needed.
Provide attentive and personalized service to ensure guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient overall operations.
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.
Upsell additional products when appropriate, such as desserts or specialty drinks.
Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including dining and service areas.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a wait in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work well in a team and thrive in a high-pressure environment.
Knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
Basic math skills for processing payments and making change.
Exceptional multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Food safety and sanitation knowledge is a plus.
Must be at least 18 years old.
