Waiters are responsible for ensuring that all guests coming to the restaurant have a positive experience. As the primary point of contact between the guests and kitchen, they are to ensure that all orders are taken correctly, and that food and beverages are delivered in a timely manner. Waiters are also responsible for up-selling menu items to ensure that sales targets are met.
Responsibilities
-Make guests feel welcome from the moment they enter the restaurant
-Take orders correctly
-Ensure that the food and beverages are brought to the table in a timely and well-presented manner
-Recommend menu items to guests based on their preferences
-Up-sell menu items as instructed by management
-Ensure that all tables are prepared to receive guests
-Handle guest complaints
-Take payments from customers
-Must be able to work under pressure
-Must be able to work in a multi-cultural environment
-Must be a good communicator
-Must be fluent in English, Arabic would be a plus
-Must be trustworthy with various payments
-Open to females only
