Job Purpose
The Business Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and streamlining the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with strategic goals. This role involves managing resources, optimizing processes, and supporting teams to meet business objectives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight•Oversee the daily operations of the business, ensuring smooth execution of processes and workflows.•Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency.•Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Strategic Planning•Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational goals with the company’s overall strategy.•Conduct market and operational research to support decision-making.•Identify growth opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives.
Team Management•Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams to ensure productivity and engagement.•Conduct performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.•Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Budget and Resource Management•Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.•Monitor expenditures and recommend adjustments to meet financial goals.•Oversee procurement and vendor management processes.
Compliance and Risk Management•Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry standards.•Identify and mitigate operational risks to safeguard business continuity.•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Qatari labor laws and business regulations.
Technology and Innovation•Evaluate and implement technology solutions to optimize operations.•Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to drive innovation.
Stakeholder Management•Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and regulatory bodies.•Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and public forums.
Key Requirements
Qualifications•Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is preferred).•Professional certifications in operations, project management, or related areas are a plus.
Experience•Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, preferably within Qatar or the GCC region.•Proven track record of successfully managing teams and improving operational performance.
