We are looking for a Cashier to join our team! The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be accurate and efficient in handling cash transactions, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and answer their questions
Scan items and collect payments
Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct
Bag items carefully
Maintain cleanliness of checkout areas
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role
Excellent customer service skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and efficiency
