BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES :
To design, develop and implement strategies in expanding the existing & identifying new business opportunities and responsible for working primarily with the Metals, Mining, Commercial Agri Business and outline, develop, and enable execution of business strategies that will advance and develop the existing business and expansion plans.
Demographic & Scope of Role :
· This role will be based out of Dubai and requires travelling outside Dubai on need based.
· The role will have dealings with internal and external clients.
Reporting & Relationships :
The reporting will be to CEO and will be an independent contributor.
Key Result Areas & Outcomes :
Supporting CEO in the business development initiatives for expansion in the existing & new businesses in African markets.
Develop business strategies at global and where appropriate, at regional levels and identify key strategic imperatives and capabilities required to achieve these objectives.
Understand the operating mechanisms, processes and practices of key organizations and alliances in the Metals, Mining, Commercial Agri Business, et al and develop relationships and gain positive mindshare & influence towards effective advocacy and public policy matters, understand changes and policy shifts and influences that can impact our business operations.
Internal coordination with Projects, Finance, Legal and other departments for quick resolution and smooth progress of the projects
Coordinating and liaising for legal, financial and other due diligence doents involved in new ventures / projects
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and sense of urgency
Consolidating and providing necessary reports to Management of all the group entities strategic & business development activities and progress.
Analyze market access trends and continuously map market requirements; anticipate access barriers and cost containment risks.
Systematically track the evolution of the environment, strategy or outcomes with input from the marketing team and partners and adjust strategies and target outcomes as required.
Ensure coordination and follow-up among partner agencies on the interventions.
Establish and implement a monitoring and evaluation framework for execution of the strategy

Competencies, Knowledge & Skills
Management qualification from a reputed B-School and work experience of 15 to 20 years in large Organizations.
Understands trends and market dynamics in different countries, aware of competitor strategies, and understands the business process.
Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders with strong strategic thinking skills, as evidenced by the ability, identify alternative scenarios, articulate resulting implications, and develop recommendations for decision-making or action.
Fluency in understanding scientific, market and competitive data to spot patterns and opportunities to capture value for Nava
Ability to understand and translate market and competitive dynamics into strategic implications for the various businesses.
Demonstrated project leadership, managing work streams and small teams of cross-functional colleagues with varying backgrounds and skillsets.
Understanding of Finance and P&L implications of business strategies
Ability to work with complex information and distil into a framework that helps facilitate decision making.
Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and lead with indirect authority.
Excellent presentation skills sufficient to address internal and external audiences.
Facilitates communication between cross functional team members to ensure efforts are aligned.
Financial model preparation and analyze the business projections
Good communication skills.
High degree of personal integrity and strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced, flexible, team-based environment.
Exposure to ERP systems, preferably SAP
Qualification & Experience
Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Experience of 10 years in significantly contributing to the strategy / business expansion plans of an operating business Organization.
Languages Known – English & French.
Compensation : 15000 to 20000 dollars per month
