Job Brief:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that promote sustainable practices within the organization and its produc. The role involves identifying with key stakeholders, including clients, customers, employees, partners, and suppliers to drive sustainable growth and increase brand reputation.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of sustainability best practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that promote sustainable practices and enhance the organization’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for sustainable innovation and develop products and services that meet customer needs while reducing the organization’s carbon footprint.
- Conduct research to identify market trends and best practices in sustainability and use this knowledge to inform marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Engage with stakeholders to build trust and foster meaningful relationships that support the organization’s sustainability goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop messaging and communication materials that effectively promote the organization’s sustainability initiatives.
- Develop and implement metrics to measure the impact of sustainability initiatives on brand reputation and customer engagement.
- Manage partnerships with external organizations and industry groups to build a network of sustainability advocates and thought leaders.
- Developing and managing budgets for marketing campaigns based on client needs and available funds.
- Analysing sales funnels and clients' intent, interpreting data, formulating reports, and making recommendations.Reviewing online analytics reports to identify opportunities to improve campaign performance.
- Measuring and creating performance reports for all digital marketing campaigns and assessing them against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Stay up to date with relevant regulations, industry standards, and emerging trends in sustainability marketing.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sustainability, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on sustainability.Demonstrated experience developing and executing marketing campaigns that promote sustainable practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience managing budgets and implementing metrics to measure the impact of marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with sustainability standards and best practices, including carbon accounting, supply chain sustainability, and ESG reporting.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and policies related to sustainability marketing, including FTC guidelines and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop insights that inform marketing strategies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
