Job Description:
Alshariya Cargo & Logistics LLC is seeking diligent and vigilant Security Guards to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and assets.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and control access points to the premises, verifying the identity of individuals and vehicles entering or exiting.
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and prevent unauthorized access or suspicious activities.
Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security threats and provide a sense of safety for employees and visitors.
Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
Perform security checks of designated areas, including buildings, storage areas, and parking lots.
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security breaches.
Report any security concerns, incidents, or breaches to supervisors and follow the necessary protocols for doentation.
Enforce company policies and regulations to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
Collaborate with law enforcement authorities and emergency services when required.
Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors regarding security procedures and protocols.
Conduct regular inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions or deficiencies.
Stay updated on security trends, techniques, and technologies to enhance security practices within the organization.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar role is advantageous.
Valid UAE security guard license or SIRA certification is mandatory.
Knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and best practices.
Strong observational and surveillance skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and perform patrols for extended periods.
Sound judgment and the ability to make quick and appropriate decisions.
Basic computer literacy for report writing and incident doentation.
Integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
