Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Transport Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of UAE experience in managing heavy-duty truck fleets. They will play a pivotal role in overseeing our existing operations while driving business development initiatives to expand our client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize the day-to-day operations of our heavy-duty truck fleet, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.
Oversee route planning, vehicle maintenance, and driver scheduling to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Implement best practices for fleet management, including fuel efficiency, cost control, and regulatory compliance.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion, actively seeking out new clients and markets.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, logistics, and finance, to achieve company objectives and targets.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technologies to drive continuous improvement in our transportation services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing heavy-duty truck fleets in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements in the region.
Proven track record of driving operational excellence and cost efficiency.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experience in business development and client relationship management is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management software.
