We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks within the warehouse, including but not limited to receiving, storing, and distributing goods, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. The Warehouse Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting efficient warehouse operations and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and store incoming shipments in an organized and efficient manner.
Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure accuracy and condition.
Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring they are accurate and meet quality standards.
Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Warehouse Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
