We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Worksh Supervisor to lead our team in the automotive modification sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, with hands-on experience in vehicle modifications and the ability to effectively manage a workshop or factory setting.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee day-to-day operations of the worksh, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output.
*Supervise and mentor a team of skilled technicians and fabricators, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals.
*Manage the installation of wheelchair ramps and modifications to vehicle bodies, ensuring compliance with safety standards and customer specifications.
*Have hands-on experience of using common workshop hand tools and understanding welding processes and qualities.
*Coordinate with project managers and other departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of modifications.
*Conduct regular inspections of completed modifications to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
*Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the modification process.
*Maintain and manage inventory of tools, parts, and materials needed for modifications.
*Implement and uphold best practices for workshop safety and cleanliness.
*Proven experience as a Worksh Supervisor or similar role in the automotive industry or similar.
*Hands-on experience with vehicle modifications.
*Proficiency in Excel and project management software.
*Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
*Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in the automotive industry.
*Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members.
